In early 2021, Airway Heights hired Framework to update its comprehensive plan, addressing unprecedented population growth and guiding the Spokane suburb for the next 20 years. The consultant team utilized digital tools during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating an outreach website with unique branding and hosting virtual events to establish a new community vision livestreamed on social media. Adopted in 2023, the plan encompasses Land Use, Parks & Recreation, Housing, Capital Facilities, Utilities, and Economic Development. Informed by three alternatives, the land use update demonstrates strategies for growth targets within or outside the existing urban growth area, each element supported by new maps and graphics.

Framework also developed a user-friendly web-based version of Airway Height Comprehensive Plan, featuring consistent visual identity, interactive filters, and a search function to enhance community involvement in the planning process.
