Katherine is a curious, multidisciplinary designer who strives to shape healthy, equitable urban spaces through collaborative, integrated design processes. With experience working in architecture, interior architecture, and community development across both private and nonprofit sectors, Katherine is skilled in research, engagement, interdisciplinary team collaboration, and developing and communicating fact-based, actionable design solutions at multiple scales.

As a graduate student in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, Katherine has expanded her expertise to larger community and urban scales, seeking to create public spaces that bridge design disciplines and scales to promote inclusive, sustainable, and efficient urban systems.

Prior to joining Framework, Katherine studied design extensively in Northern Europe, exploring the qualities and strategies behind public space that supports community-building, innovation, and belonging and nourishment for all users.
