Hope is an Urban Designer at Framework with a background in Landscape Architecture. She is an experienced interdisciplinary design collaborator on public streetscapes, trails, parks, wayfinding systems, and urban design frameworks. She is passionate about using qualitative research to weave narrative into her work, and believes in the importance of public space for hosting daily recreation, cultural expression, and political action.
Before beginning her professional career in Washington, Hope studied urban design in Peru’s largest Amazonian city. There she explored the potential for streetscape and park-scale projects to support urban infrastructure and improve human and ecological health. She continues to explore the potential of the public realm to support human, community, and environmental health in the Pacific Northwest.
