we are framework

we put people and public life at
the heart of planning and design

We are a multidisciplinary planning and design firm that crosses disciplines to find synergies between buildings, spaces and communities. We strengthen and build community.

We practice cultural placemaking. What that means to us is design and planning that brings places to life. It means engergizing your downtown, solving parking problems that are holding the community back, and celebrating arts and culture. We love to tackle the challenging issues and work with the community every step of the way so that the outcome reflects the people that it serves.

Urban Planning

People and place-based planning that benefits the local community and economy.

Urban Design + Architecture

We focus on envisioning and building communities that put people at the heart of design and view the public realm as the canvas to express a community’s values, culture, and strengthen the local economy.

Place Activation

Framework collaborates with communities to reimagine and activate public space; increasing a space’s visibility and flexibility while enabling the true potential of public space to build community and economy.

Parking + Mobility

Framework’s unique experience in both urban design and parking management allows us to effectively address both the design and management of parking to improve the user experience and contribute to the success of downtowns, neighborhoods, commuter parking programs, and recreation areas.

Arts + Culture

Framework helps communities create plans for arts, culture, and heritage, looking to the community’s shared vision and goals for the role arts and culture can play. Our arts and culture process is grounded in the belief that public art is powerful and contributes to a collective community identity.

I love the conceptual thinking you brought to this document, your distinct ability and desire to listen to the City and the Design Review Board. The City and the DRB will be better off because of this new process. -
