we put people and public life at the heart of planning and design

The categories of our work are key parts of the complexities inherent in people- and place-based urbanism.

The in-depth understanding of these key issues allows us to look holistically at the places where we do our work, and maximize synergies among intertwined issues.

sunnyside FEASABILITY

  • Together with the City of Sunnyside, we are working to produce a study projects a need for 866 new housing units on 194 acres of land, with strategies meant to expand affordable and diverse housing options — from single-family homes to multi-family units. Community workshops and outreach are central to our process, ensuring that the plan reflects the needs and priorities of the community.

Sammamish town center

  • Framework is assisting the City of Sammamish with ongoing updates to the Town Center Plan and development code. The work includes code amendments, environmental review, and coordination with city staff and stakeholders to support infrastructure, affordable housing, and educational capacity. These efforts will ensure that the City’s growth and implementation aligns with the long-term vision of the community.

loveland code update

  • The Loveland Code audit reviews existing development rules to identify barriers and improve support for affordable and missing middle housing. The project will assess housing policies, permitting processes, and code requirements, with findings shaping future updates to the City’s development standards.

pasco comprehensive plan

  • Our team is supporting the City of Pasco in updating its Comprehensive plan. Our work includes facilitating public engagement, reviewing policies, and integrating new elements to ensure alignment with the Growth Management Act (GMA). The update will help the City plan for housing, transportation, utilities, and other key needs in a sustainable and community-driven way.

Framework's commitment to understanding Pasco's deep history and cultural roots was invaluable in the successful adoption of our first Downtown Master Plan. Their collaborative approach helped craft a true community-led plan that continues to be implemented and is something our community members are proud of as valued partners in achieving the vision of Downtown Pasco.
