Inventory and Research for a Downtown Streetscape Vision

The Downtown Seattle Association’s interest in rejuvenating the city’s retail core led to this vision for the streetscape with improvements that would be implemented over time. Framework worked with project lead, Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, focusing on creating and researching a physical inventory of existing conditions and an evaluation of each block in the site boundary for future recommendations. The data gathered was used to create a fresh vision and a new set of right-of-way standards that prioritize pedestrians.
