Donny Donoghue is Design & Research Intern for Framework while completing a Graduate Degree in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington. He has B.S. in Landscape Architecture and has been involved in design and planning for parks, streetscapes, wayfinding, and mixed-use developments in 10 states. Donny is passionate about implementable urban design strategies that support the needs and cultures of existing communities. His work is focused on creating active streetscapes and public spaces with a strong local identity at multiple scales, from neighborhood plans to curbs.
On weekends you can find Donny eating cheap takeout on the Republican Street stairs, exploring new lands on his Surly bike, or getting lost in the mountains.
